Second Chance Armor Transfers Military Workload, Products To Its Alabama Facility

Second Chance Armor, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems, recently announced that its Alabama production facility will be transferred to the company’s Individual Equipment Systems Division (IESD) of the Aerospace & Defense Group (A&DG). All military workload and products will relocate to the Alabama facility, with all of Alabama’s domestic law enforcement production moving to its facility in Michigan. The transition is expected to take approximately 8-12 weeks to complete.

Medc Tax Incentives Spur Economic Growth At Second Chance Armor

Second Chance Armor, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems, recently announced that the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has agreed to provide tax incentives that allow the business to invest more than $1 million to expand and resume operations at its Central Lake production facility. The project is expected to create 160 new jobs, including 100 directly by the company.
