Second Chance Armor Transfers Military Workload, Products To Its Alabama Facility

Second Chance Armor, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems, recently announced that its Alabama production facility will be transferred to the company’s Individual Equipment Systems Division (IESD) of the Aerospace & Defense Group (A&DG). All military workload and products will relocate to the Alabama facility, with all of Alabama’s domestic law enforcement production moving to its facility in Michigan. The transition is expected to take approximately 8-12 weeks to complete.

Medc Tax Incentives Spur Economic Growth At Second Chance Armor

Second Chance Armor, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems, recently announced that the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has agreed to provide tax incentives that allow the business to invest more than $1 million to expand and resume operations at its Central Lake production facility. The project is expected to create 160 new jobs, including 100 directly by the company.

Bianchi® International has just introduced the Model 90 Vision™, a leather concealment holster designed specifically for those who carry a light mounted on their weapon. The Vision offers a semi-closed bottom design that covers the bezel of the light to protect the lens, yet open at the muzzle end to allow debris to fall through. Hatch Introduces The Protector™ - A New Anti Microbial Glove For The Postal Market

Developed specifically for mail handlers, the Protector™ Model AMPG250, is an all-purpose glove with Hatch’s Extreme Grip™ patches on the fingertips to facilitate mail handling. This glove features an antimicrobial element in the fabric (Ag) which inhibits bacterial growth and provides anti-odor performance. The Protector™ also features unique insulation properties to help regulate temperature, keeping the user cool in summer and warm in winter. Hatch® adds New Tactical “Wall” Deployment Bag to its Line of Gear Bags

Hatch introduces the WALL Deployment Bag to its line of technical gear bags for law enforcement professionals. Designed to attach to the lower leg via two adjustable leg straps, the WALL bag was developed specifically for covert tactical rappelling operations. Among the many features of the WALL Bag, it boasts a full 4 ½” expandable panel for extra rope stuffing, three multiple gear pockets and one large glove pocket with hook and loop closures. Two rows of MOLLE-style caribiner loops are sewn onto the large pocket to provide multiple attachment points.

Bianchi® Introduces The Luminator™ Holster For Guns With Rail Mounted Lights

Bianchi International recognizes the necessity for a compact and lightweight holster for officers who keep a light mounted on their weapon. To meet this market-driven need, Bianchi® designed the Luminator™ Duty Holster using AccuMold® technology. The Luminator™ has a semi-closed bottom design that covers the bezel of the light to protect the lens, and an open muzzle to allow debris to fall through. An ergonomic pad on the belt loop for added comfort and user-adjustable tension bars keep the Luminator™ securely in place on standard duty belts up to 2.25” wide. The Luminator™ is also available in a low-ride version which is a 1.5” drop from a standard ride designed for female officers and others that require a low-ride holster. Initial fits available include the Glock 17, 19, 22, 23 and Sigarms P220R, P226R for both the Streamlight® M3 and M6. Model 7145 is available in ballistic and model 7945 is available in plain, basketweave, or hi-gloss DuraSkin™ finish.

Hatch Introduces State-of-the-Art TLS™ Tactical Knee Pad with 60% More Blunt Force Protection

Hatch has developed a completely new product for the professional user, the TLS™ Tactical Kneepad, offering an exclusive triple-layer knee protection system and additional protective and comfort features not available in one product until now. This system provides up to 60% more protection against blunt force trauma than traditional foam knee pads. It starts with a PVC shell sewn on to a Cordura® nylon shell, and features Neoprene to allow stretch and hold the kneepad in place more effectively. It is followed by a ¼” section of Skydex®, an outstanding shock-absorbing material, a layer of EVA foam and covered with another layer of foam and a soft tricot liner.
