Safariland Introduces SPEEDFEED Stocks in A-TACS, MultiCam and Flat Dark Earth

Safariland™, a BAE Systems line of business, introduces select SPEEDFEED I and SPEEDFEED III shotgun stocks in the popular Multi-Cam® and A-TACS® camouflage patterns and in Flat Dark Earth. The new stocks debuted at the NASGW Show, and are in response to demand from law enforcement, military and consumers for shotgun stocks that match uniforms and natural environments. The new camouflage patterns are applied hydrographically, while the Flat Dark Earth models are molded in that color.

Safariland Adds NIJ-06 Female Model to Its ABA Xtreme Line of Products

The XT01F Type II is part of the ABA® Xtreme® Series of concealable armor. It is the first NIJ-06 compliant, female armor model to be added to this brand. Tested against the 9 mm & .357 Mag. Safariland Adds New NIJ-06 Ballistic Vest to Second Chance Summit Series

Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today that it has released another armor model that satisfies the requirements of the National Institute of Justice’s (NIJ) new Voluntary Body Armor Compliance Testing Program under NIJ Standard-0101.06 (NIJ-06). Second Chance has always been committed to ballistic designs that offer optimum comfort and value. The MN01 Type IIIA is a thin, flexible design that features a hybrid of all DuPont™ Kevlar® ballistic materials. The combination of these materials, including DuPont™ Kevlar® XP™, provides enhanced ballistic performance against special threats like the 5.7 FN hollow point, and reinforces the brand partnership between Second Chance and DuPont®, the maker of Kevlar®. The MN01 Type IIIA also features advanced perimeter and X-stitching to reinforce the armor panels, while reducing blunt trauma. The MN01 Type IIIA adds to the existing family of Type IIA and II for superior value, performance and reliability.

Safariland Adds Its First NIJ-06 Female Model to Its SAVVY Line of Products

Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today that it has released an additional armor model that satisfies the requirements of the National Institute of Justice’s (NIJ) new Voluntary Body Armor Compliance Testing Program under NIJ Standard-0101.06 (NIJ-06). The SM01F Type IIIA is part of the SAVVY, Armor For Women™ Series of concealable armor. It is the first NIJ-06 compliant, form-fit female armor to be added to this brand. Tested against the .357 Sig & .44 Mag. NIJ-designated rounds, the SAVVY SM01F Type IIIA is also the first NIJ-06 certified armor panel to use the exclusive, waterproof protection of Gore-Tex® fabric as a panel covering. The Gore-Tex fabric panel covering is form-fit to the armor panel, seam-sealed and provides odor and stain protection against environmental elements. Gore-Tex fabric can also be provided as an upgrade for other Safariland certified armor models.
