Team Safariland Member Mike Voigt Wins MGM Ironman 3Gun Tournament
Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, congratulates Team Safariland member Mike Voigt for winning the MGM Ironman 3 Gun Tournament June 10-12 in Parma, Idaho. This was Voigt’s first attempt at the grueling three-day match, which was made even more challenging by rain storms and high winds.

Debuted at SHOT Show, the new Safariland AR 15 mounts are designed specifically for flat top receivers with Picatinny rails. Team Safariland Member Doug Koenig Wins NRA Bianchi Cup Pistol Tournament
Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, congratulates Team Safariland member Doug Koenig for winning his 12th Bianchi Cup title with a clean score of 1920-179x. Koenig was the only competitor to clean the match this year. Further, Safariland sponsored shooters Robert Vadasz, of the U.S. Border Patrol, won the Metallic division, and Kyle Schmidt, of Tempe PD, won the Production division. Three other team members, John Pride, Mike Voigt and Scott Carnahan, finished in the top 20.

Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today that it has released an additional armor model that satisfies the requirements of the National Institute of Justice’s (NIJ) new Voluntary Body Armor Compliance Testing Program under NIJ Standard-0101.06 (NIJ-06).
The XT01 Type II is part of the ABA®, Xtreme Series of concealable armor. Tested against the 9mm & .357 mag. NIJ-designated rounds, the XT01 Type II is a hybrid armor design that combines the high performance of Honeywell® Gold Shield® ballistic material with Twaron® Microlaminate for enhanced ballistic and chemical resistance. The combination of these materials provides reliable protection against a wide array of threats, while also offering an enhanced degree of flexibility.

All New Safariland Training for Female Officers
Safariland™, a BAE Systems line of business, announces the debut of the latest offering from the Safariland Training Group, the Female Officer Survival Training Tactics course, which is available immediately.
This four-day course, developed by female law enforcement officers, provides female officers the skills to confidently engage and thwart lethal threatening situations. Highlights of the course include improved firearms accuracy, advanced gun fighting skills, defensive tactics specific to the female officer, and improving tactical decision-making skills through scenario-based training.

Team Safariland Takes Gold at Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun
Safariland™, a BAE Systems line of business, proudly congratulates Team Safariland on its gold medal winning performance at the Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun in Mesa, Arizona. The three-day event was held from March 25-28 and included over 300 shooters. It is the first event of the 3-Gun National Tournament Series.
Team Safariland member Mike Voigt won the Open Class using the new Safariland ELS accessory and holster mounting system. The Model 032 ELS Competition Belt with mounting holes is the foundation for this system, allowing attachment of the ELS System forks and plates. Once attached, accessories can be placed in virtually any location and angle on the belt.

New model from the Safariland™ Second Chance® Prism® Series provides combined stab and ballistic protection
Safariland, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today that it has released another armor model that satisfies the requirements of the National Institute of Justice’s (NIJ) new Voluntary Body Armor Compliance Testing Program under NIJ Standard-0101.06 (NIJ-06).
The MT21 Type II/Spike 2 provides combined ballistic and stab protection, and is the second multi-threat armor model added to the Second Chance, Prism Series. In addition to meeting the compliance test requirements for NIJ-06 Type II ballistic protection, the model has met compliance testing in accordance with NIJ Standard-0115.00 at protection level 2 against strike energy of 24.3 ft lbf (33 Joules) for spike protection. The MT21 was designed to incorporate breakthrough technologies such as Curv® technology in a solid application, along with advanced Twaron Microflex® spike-resistant material and Honeywell® Gold Shield® ballistic-resistant material.

New models from the Safariland™ Second Chance® Summit™ Series and the PROTECH® Tactical series offer concealable and tactical ballistic protection.
The SM01 Type II and Type IIIA are part of the Second Chance, Summit Series for concealable armor. Additionally, PROTECH Tactical will be featuring the SM01 Type IIIA as the primary armor model available across its full range of side-opening style tactical vests.
