New Bianchi Slimline Magazine Pouches Saves Space on Duty Belt
January 19, 2011
Safariland™, a BAE Systems line of business, introduces two new magazine pouch designs in their Bianchi brand. The Slimline Double Magazine Pouch and the Slimline Triple Magazine Pouch are designed with the magazines facing narrow side out, offering officers additional space on an often-crowded duty belt.
“The Bianchi Slimline Magazine Pouch models provide all the benefits of traditional magazine pouches but with a huge benefit: They use less space on the belt,” stated James Dawson, Category Director, Duty Gear for Safariland. “In an era where Electronic Discharge Weapons, multiple handcuffs, lights, batons, gloves, and OC holders are a must, any inch saved on the officer’s belt is invaluable. In this case, up to 1.5 inches can be saved.”
In addition to having the magazines face narrow side out, these pouch models feature a tension screw to ensure proper fit with multiple magazine types. The closed-top design has a protective flap with a hidden snap closure. Magazines are carried in the vertical position, with the Slimline Triple Magazine Pouch model also allowing for horizontal carry.
Both models are offered in all Bianchi duty gear lines - AccuMold®, AccuMold® Elite™ and PatrolTek™. All models feature trilaminate construction and are contour molded, providing an exact fit and less bulk for all-day wear. Available in three sizes to fit a wide variety of magazines.
