Safariland® Introduces the “Automatic Locking System”

January 01, 2006
Ontario, CA

Safariland introduces two new concealment paddle holster offerings – the Model 6358 and Model 6368 w/ SLS - both with their all-new Automatic Locking System (ALS™). With the ALS system, once the weapon is holstered, it “locks” into place providing additional security from typical open top holsters. The device is completely operable with the thumb, making it very instinctive to use. Plus, once the retention device is released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster with no twisting or other motion required.

These ALS™ paddle holsters are offered in two configurations – with SLS and without. The Model 6358 is the standard model featuring the ALS™ internal locking device as the means to retain the weapon, while the Model 6368 utilizes Safariland’s Self-Locking System (SLS), as its primary security system, combined with the ALS. Both the Model 6358 and 6368 are worn on the belt and feature a semi hi-ride position. With a slightly forward weapon cant, they ride close to the body aiding in concealment and weapon retention. The Model 6358 is offered in a Plain Black SAFARILAMINATE® finish or STX Tactical finish with an MSRP of $90.00 and $105.00 respectively. The Model 6368 with SLS is offered in the same finishes with an MSRP of $145.00 and $130.00 respectively. Available now for the most popular semiauto fits.
