Safariland Training Group Announces 2012 Northeast National Training Conference
January 18, 2012
Safariland®, a BAE Systems business, is pleased to announce the date of the Safariland® Training Group’s 2012 Northeastern National Conference being held from May 18 - 21, 2012, in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Formerly known as the Less Lethal Conference, the program has been expanded to include a new line of lecture-based classes geared toward supervisors and investigators, as well as more specialized courses based on the demand for new training in the law enforcement industry.
Safariland Training Group will combine their traditional Monadnock® Baton and Defense Technology® courses with a new line of courses including Critical Incident Command, Patrol Rifle and Patrol Shield, Crime Scene Investigation, Crowd Management and Startle Response to an Ambush.
These courses have been developed with the experience of Safariland Training Group’s Instructors and the expertise behind Safariland’s product brands, such as Monadnock, Defense Technology, PROTECH® and Forensics Source®.
“We’ve geared the conference toward the ever-changing needs of the police community,” said Sandy Wall, Director of Safariland Training Group. “Our focus is to offer courses that are unique and challenging with personalized attention and hands-on instruction.”
The 2012 North-eastern National Conference is being held at the Radisson hotel in downtown Manchester, where there is a special discount room rate for conference attendees of $99 per night. Safariland has also significantly discounted many of this year’s conference rates to accommodate agencies that have experienced budget cuts. In addition, a special early registration discount of up to $75 off the regular conference rate is also being offered if applicants register by April 15, 2012.
