“As part of the product testing and R&D team for the Safariland Patrol Bike brand, I am constantly testing the bikes to the limit; the XTERRA World Championships is the ultimate test, said Dave Ruby. Having the Safariland/Kona 29er team bike as my choice of ride at the XTERRA World Championship was a great decision, especially when I was standing on the podium as the only American among the Europeans.”
With so much experience riding on rugged terrain, Dave and Jodi actively test products for the Safariland/Kona patrol bike line. “We’ve tested anything and everything in regards to the Safariland/Kona bike and products and it’s great to provide our input to promote a safe and comfortable ride for officers,” said Jodi.
The Safariland/Kona Patrol Bike features the Shimano® 30-speed drivetrain with SLX derailleur for quick and easy gear shifting. It is constructed of durable Kona Race Light 7005 aluminium. Roxshox™ high-performance forks, and hydraulic disc brakes for excellent stopping power.
